We have considerable success with our Responses to Job and Person Specifications and they are designed to be “user friendly” and make you, the client, an attractive proposition for the position sought.  Clients are interviewed to establish answers to the selection criteria, the Response is drafted and then the client’s further input is sought in the final stages.  When clients have drafted answers, we look closely at these to ensure that they have adequately answered all aspects of the selection criteria. 

 

Interview Techniques

We are undertaking more and more work in this area, guiding clients through the interview process, encouraging them to do their “homework” before attending interviews and assisting them to overcome nervousness.  We discuss the types of questions they may encounter, how best to approach them and how to present a professional image.   Clients are provided with information sheets and are always welcome, and indeed, encouraged to contact us for a debriefing after interviews.

 

 

To enable us to market your services and provide you with a product which markets your skills and abilities effectively we need the following:

 

Resume

  • Personal details such as full name, address, contact numbers, email address (if applicable), languages spoken, interests/hobbies and licences and certificates;

  • Work history including period worked for each organisation and position title as well as summary of your duties and responsibilities.  Any achievements or awards for service should also be included;

  • Education and professional development which includes date course undertaken, education provider and course or workshop attended.  In this area you should also include any in-house training undertaken – e.g. OHS&W training and updates, manual handling, dangerous goods handling, fire fighting or use of specific machinery;

  • Computer skills;

  • Clubs and Associations you have belonged to along with your role within that organisation;

  • Volunteer or community activities;

  • Achievements both within and outside the work environment; and

  • Three referees with contact numbers.
